Half Moon Bay (CA) Review ran a story about Rebecca Seeley-Kavaliku, owner of
Gourmet Appliance, a high-end dealer that carries Evo. The article discusses the elite appliance market and how Evo fits into her product mix. "It's like a Benihana's type thing," said shop worker Tammy Houston of the Evo Flattop Grill, a product well geared for the signature chop and flip showmanship of the popular Japanese restaurant chain. "It's really big right now."
The store concept is to deliver commercial grade appliances to residential customers. "We're selling stuff for the classiness of it, but we service everything we sell. It's lifetime warranty stuff and things that work for the Coastside because of the rust."
