Distinctive Kitchen Solutions magazine featured the Evo Affinity 25E Electric Cooking Station in their June 2009 issue. The article features an image of the circular cooktop that can "manage a wide range of menu possibilities."

Faith Middleton Radio Interview - June 2009

Faith Middleton, the two-time Peabody Award-winning radio host on Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (WNPR affiliate) recently conducted a radio interview with Evo President Bob Shingler on her show "Food Schmooze."

Faith "test-drove" Evo for a week and then delivered thoughts about the product. Some of her quotes about Evo:

Evo is always featured at Compadres weekend, an annual event consisting of men eating and drinking in the Oregon woods. Compadres and Saucy Rubs founder, Adam Cox writes on his blog:

Evo Saves the Day at Resort in Hawaii

At about 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, the Hawaiian Island of Oahu experienced an Island-wide power outage caused by a lightning strike to power lines. The lightning storm over Honolulu knocked out electricity for almost the entire island of Oahu as people from Waikiki to Kaneohe were plunged into darkness including President Obama, who was there for the memorial service of his grandmother.

At the Halekulani Resort in Waikiki, Executive Chef Vikram Garg didn't panic because he had Evo on his side. On the morning of December 27th, Chef Vikram cooked a full breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage and hash browns for 400 guests - on a single Evo Professional Wheeled Cart. "I love it and our guests love it - we cook everything on it," said Chef Vikram.

Evo's Professional Wheeled Cart was featured in live broadcast from the Portland Home and Garden Show on the local NBC affiliate. Host Drew Carney cooked bacon and pancakes with Evo retailer Outdoor Kitchen World.

Northwest Palate Magazine - December 2008

Northwest Palate magazine, which explores food and wine of the Pacific Northwest, featured Evo in their 2008 Holiday Gift Guide "Foodie Gifts That Dazzle." The magazine calls Evo "King of the Grill" and discusses plancha style cooking.

Golf Business - October 2008

In October 2008, Golf Business magazine writes about Evo as a "Bright Idea." Author David Gould reports about the success that GlenArbor Club in Beford Hills, New York is having with Evo Flattop Grills. Chef Carey Favreau reports that Evo becomes the star of the show at the club's open-air dining events where "people are always around the grill."

Chef Carey reports that the club is not only entertaining and feeding guests with style, but also saving money through less food waste and less expense on other types of equipment like hot transfer/storage equipment, chafing dishes, charcoal grated grills, cassette burners and additional fuel.

Julie Hasson from Everyday Dish prepares grilled hearts of romaine salad on Evo on the "Better Portland" show on the Fox television affiliate in Portland. The host says "this is the coolest grill I've ever seen." Julie sears the lettuce and croutons at the same time.

Slow Food Nation - San Francisco - August 2008

Chef Rohit Singh, guest chef at Culinary Institute of America (CIA), St. Helena, California used an Evo Professional Tabletop to cook Indian breads at the Slow Food Nation event at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Chef Singh and his team served about 5,000 Indian breads from Evo and other equipment to 60,000 guests in attendance in the Bread Pavillion. Lesley Stahl of 60 minutes was there to profile the event.

Int'l Caterers Assoc, CommuniCater Newsletter - 2008

HGTV at K/BIS 2008 - Outdoor Kitchen Grills

The popularity of outdoor kitchens continues to skyrocket. HGTV recently featured highlights from K/BIS 2008 on their website, and showed the Evo Affinity 30G (outdoor built-in) in their Outdoor Kitchen Grills section. Note: Evo is the second product featured in the clip.

Chef Doug Miner of Cross Wind Catering recently prepared "Oh My Gosh Steak" on an Evo Professional Cart for the RV Cooking Show - a virtual cooking class on wheels with an RV travel twist that takes viewers on adventures to some of the most sought-after or interesting but little-known RV locales in the country and then creates a healthy, easy, delicious destination-related recipe in host Evanne Schmarder's RV kitchen.

As part of their Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) coverage, Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford featured Evo indoor and outdoor appliances. Danny Lipford is the host and executive producer of Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford®, a nationally syndicated weekly half-hour television show entering its 11th season that appears on more than 200 stations in 175 markets.
