The Oregonian writes about Portland, Oregon food cart purveyor, The Fried Onion. The owners - John and Marcy McGrath - use an Evo Professional Tabletop grill.

Evo Cooks at the Houston Airport

Real Foods restaurant at the Houston Airport recently unveiled their new concept restaurant that features 5 Evo Affinity 25E Cooking Stations.

The open restaurant concept which is located in terminal C south has 11 serving stations and offers everything from a well seasoned steak, to jambalaya with jumbo shrimp, Chinese chicken salad and delicate pastries.

The concept and eclectic décor are a first of its kind in the nation.

“We operate two restaurants in Europe, “says Roger Schwandtner, V.P. Business Development of SSP America. “We are setting a new standard with this type of restaurant in order to offer a variety of quality food at great prices for passengers.”

Hotel Vikas Magazine - October 2009

Hotel Vikas magazine, a pioneer in Indian hotel news, hotel resources and hotel information recently interviewed Evo President, Bob Shingler. Asked about the benefits Evo is providing:

Gustavo Dudamel / Los Angeles Philharmonic Event - October 2009

Patina Restaurant Group recently hosted an event for the Inaugural Concert: Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the LA Music Center. The menu was cooked on Evo Professional Commercial Wheeled Carts and featured:

Evo's Australian distributor, Nomalon Imports, posted an advertorial in Poolside Magazine, Australia's premier pool magazine. Poolside contains informative features on design issues, maintenance questions, new materials and stylish poolside accessories. Also, more than 100 individual designs are featured in each issue.

Capital Area Women's Lifestyle Magazine - June 2009

The Capital Area Women's LifeStyle Magazine, a monthly publication based in Michigan, featured an article titled "What's Hot in Barbecue This Summer" that included an image and story about Evo. The author writes:

Distinctive Kitchen Solutions magazine featured the Evo Affinity 25E Electric Cooking Station in their June 2009 issue. The article features an image of the circular cooktop that can "manage a wide range of menu possibilities."

Faith Middleton Radio Interview - June 2009

Faith Middleton, the two-time Peabody Award-winning radio host on Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (WNPR affiliate) recently conducted a radio interview with Evo President Bob Shingler on her show "Food Schmooze."

Faith "test-drove" Evo for a week and then delivered thoughts about the product. Some of her quotes about Evo:

Saucy Rubs Blog - May 2009

Evo is always featured at Compadres weekend, an annual event consisting of men eating and drinking in the Oregon woods. Compadres and Saucy Rubs founder, Adam Cox writes on his blog:

"The main attraction was cooking on the Evo Flattop itself. [Evo Chef Adam] Zwerling brought his Evo, and I brought mine. Evo Saves the Day at Resort in Hawaii

At about 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, the Hawaiian Island of Oahu experienced an Island-wide power outage caused by a lightning strike to power lines. The lightning storm over Honolulu knocked out electricity for almost the entire island of Oahu as people from Waikiki to Kaneohe were plunged into darkness including President Obama, who was there for the memorial service of his grandmother.

At the Halekulani Resort in Waikiki, Executive Chef Vikram Garg didn't panic because he had Evo on his side. On the morning of December 27th, Chef Vikram cooked a full breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage and hash browns for 400 guests - on a single Evo Professional Wheeled Cart. "I love it and our guests love it - we cook everything on it," said Chef Vikram.
